The place is a rare gem in the middle of nature; surrounded by silence, peace and beauty. And the staff is especially kind, helpful, warm and welcoming. It’s a pleasure to stay … and the energy and vibration of the place is pure and real. A treasure!

Super accommodation and experience directly on the Camino way. Beatriz is a fantastic host, always there to help and make you feel at home - This is like staying with a local, who is also a great cook, and has a great sense of humour. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Thank you Beatriz!

A beautiful building but unlike any other casa rural we’ve stayed in. Beautiful view off the back. A drying rack for hand washed clothes.
Hotel room was clean. Nice little balcony but could only use it to dry our clothes. Our room was western exposure and became extremely hot. Unbearable . I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. Hotel was basically empty and they could have been thoughtful enough to put us on Northern or Eastern exposure. If I had know I would have asked for the western or eastern side.

This is a fascinating town because of its length, full of surprises, its churches, its convent from where you can buy cakes and Tau crosses, its castle you can climb up to, a castle that has been renovated and is well worth a visit.
Absolutely clean, modern, and beautiful landscape. they grow organic vegetables that is served during dinner. Leandro, the hotel Director was extremely helpful and wonderful to talk to. His staff, Maria and Aaron are a real asset to the hotel. they showed me around the hotel, how to operate the modern washer and dryer. perfect place for peregrinos looking for a good rest and tranquility, Quinta San Francisco is the place to go! Thank you Leandro and staff.
I stayed in the dormitory section and it was quite comfortable. the owners were delightful. There was an excellent bar and restaurant at the hotel and I had a wonderful pilgrim's meal that night with a delicious garlic soup and excellent entree. The hotel also had private rooms. I would definitely come back here to stay. Plus the dog at the hotel is adorable and is painted in part of the mural in the back courtyard.
Great place! Lovely clean and spacious room (much bigger in real life than it looks in my picture) with modern bathroom with good water pressure. The host was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
The hotel is centrally located and also has a restaurant and laundry machine making it a great one stop shop on the Camino.
Amazing new albergue just at the entrance of Castrojeriz. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and helped organise a taxi back to Burgos for my husband. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Castrojeriz is a lovely town with loads of history - possibly one of my favourite stops on the Camino so far!
Owner was very genuine and friendly made everyone feel welcome and at home. Lovely rooms and patio. Close to town. Very friendly locals and pilgrims. Owner went out of his way to help. Very hard working and you could tell his heart was in the Hotel and we would love to come back and stay longer.
A beautifully curated hotel!
The staff were welcoming and served us so kindly -- from welcoming us, to drinks on the terrace, to washing our laundry in a timely manner.
The breakfast the next morning was delicious in the beautiful dining room as we took in the vistas of Castrojeriz!
Located right at the end of Castrojeriz, Rosalia is a great pilgrim hostel to mingle with other pilgrims. It doesn't take long for Rosalia fill up. I enjoy my stay here. Javier is a great host and the breakfast was perfect for the next day's walk!
This is a fantastic place. Best place we've stayed on the Camino. The owner and family are really nice and helpful and the restaurant serves good tasty food. Rooms are spacious and clean. Castrojeriz is also a nice laid back place to stay.
The hotel and gardens were gorgeous.
There was large footbath in the garden . The staff was great- helpful, courteous, and spoke English. Hotel Manager Leandro and Assistant Manager Christian set the bar high as innkeepers.
Staff was really welcoming and attentive. Lots of hot water and water pressure was excellent. I reaoliked the hotel had a bar and restaurant onsite. The staff, however, is what made it a very nice stay.
Everything was superb. A real gem on the Camino trail. Spacious room. Interesting and gorgeous old house/hotel. Wonderful welcome. Fantastic views from the breakfast room. Safe bike storage
This was an exceptional hotel. The building and the grounds were really nice. A short walk, through an alley, takes you to the main plaza area. A great splurge if walking the Camino.
