The staff was great. Miguel, Maria and Jorge all went out of their way to make it a great experience. This was the nicest hour on my Camino, so I decided on an extra night. The hotel is fresh, clean and nicely designed. IIt is right off the Camino on a pedestrian street. Do, it’s very quiet. Nice breakfast.

Hotel Sena, hotel in Caldas de Reis

Surrounded by gardens and offering an outdoor swimming pool, Hotel Sena is located in Caldas de Reis. The hotel offers a restaurant, a 24-hour reception and free on-site parking.

This was a typical old school continental hotel with some dated facilities and some updated. The restaurant was of poor quality and the servers were rude. Our room was clean and enormous.

Aires do Umia, hotel in Caldas de Reis

Aires do Umia, is located in the center of Caldas de Reis, near the Umia river, and a few yards from the Hot Water Burgas.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. However, the room temperature was difficult to control. The hours that staff is available was very limited and I arrived after walking in the rain for hours, so I needed to spend time locating a laundry mat. They were very nice to help me locate services nearby, but next time, I will look for places with laundry onsite or drying facilities.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Caldas de Reis is a regular stop-over on the Camino Portuguese. The main square with palm trees is lovely. There are cafes and you can sit there have coffee and enjoy, I only made a one night stop so can't really say much more.

We only stayed in Caldas de Reis as we were walking the Camino Portugese. We saw lots of things that'd been nice to further explore if we'd had a couple of days there....river, historic buildings etc.

it is a very quaint little town but the staff in 2 of the bars we went to were very rude. We left the first without ordering food because we found them so rude. In the second one the waiter was agressive. We did find a cafe beside the bridge with good breakfast and really friendly staff.

Lovely historic property that was originally a bathhouse from 1780. Hotel was located along the river close to the highlights of the city with many restaurant choices. The bathhouse and services were very nice and easy to book even at the last minute. My room was very comfortable, the bathroom was well laid out and the shower was amazing. The hotel was located on the Camino Way so it was a perfect location for me as a pilgrim on the Camino. Staff was vey attentive and helpful.

We choose this hotel because of the pool. We were walking the Camino Portuguese and thought this would be a good place for a rest day. The hotel was a bit further then we would have liked and while clean accommodations and food breakfast the beds were the least comfortable on our pilgrimage. Also Caldas de Reis was very small. We ended up not resting and walking the next day to Padron and taking a cab back and forth to where we stopped at.

The garden was beautiful and spacious. The pool was lovely to stand in at the end of the walk to cool down. It was really clean and the whole property was well maintained and well looked after. The staff were really friendly. The food was good (breakfast is included and they offer a "menu of the day" for 11€). It was brilliant to stay outside of the next town (Caldas de Reis). It was so quiet and peaceful. The walk there was beautiful.

The place is just marvellous! An old beautiful renovated house with all the necessary things in it. The treasure of this albergue is the owners which are wonderful people! They work not for the money, but for the people; I have recieved so much positive emotions from Jolie and her family :)) Thank you!!!<3 P.S. they give the most incredible stamp ever! Mercedes and her Mother and all the staff were so kind and nice. They provided restaurant recommendations and some interesting history about the town (the map of Caldas de Reis from 1885 is very interesting). The breakfast was very tasty and set us up for a day of walking the Camino de Santiago. The hotel has a feel of luxury which was a nice treat halfway through our Camino.

This was a spacious apartment room with a lovely view (from the third floor). When you pick up the key from the hotel down the street, the staff members are welcoming and helpful in every way. We were provided with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Unless peregrinos are staying in an albergue, they will find this place to be one of the best bargains in Caldas de Reis. It is a comfortable, roomy, nicely furnished apartment in a really good location, right on the Camino.

I could not enter the facility, nor did I get the access code to the pension so, I was left out without options and had to get a hotel myself instead. It was a very cold and windy evening!
