The visitors center was a pleasant experience. We were given a map of the town and the top sites to see if you had the time. We walked through their main park and had hoped to walk to the beach that was one of their top attractions. Beautiful plants and birds nested in the marsh areas, and even though we didn't walk far enough to get to the beach we loved the nature that was there at the inlet.

The only thing that disappointed me in Redondela, was a nearby restaurant "Casa Chano Restaurante". My son and I were very hungry and we were hoping for a "Pilgrim Menu". We walked in this restaurant and we were bowled over by the impeccable service. The lady even brought us complimentary empanadas. It seemed that two of the waiters spoke English. I was going for a fish dish that was under 15 Euros and my son had calamari that was reasonable. Well, they were out of the fish, so I pointed to a meat item. The large portion for a group is 35 Euro. The waiter said that I could have an individual portion for 12.50 euro. I was fine with that. We each had a beer and a flan for a dessert. I wanted to pay the bill so I gave my credit card and I was so pleased with the service that I gave $15 American dollars for a tip. One of the waiters who spoke English ran my card and it was not until I got back to my room that I had noticed that the bill was for 58 Euros. I was charged 35 Euros for the meat dish. I was flabbergasted as we were on a limited budget. I really felt it was only one person there because everyone else was exceptional. However, it did leave a sour taste.

The layout was odd and I think with a little renovation/reallocation of resources this could be a better place to stay. Many guestrooms and one bathroom, no sink in the breakfast area etc.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic and the house has a lot of charm. The place is shiny and it is fully equipped with everything one could possibly need for a 1 day-3/4 weeks stay. Location is right at the heart of the historical centre. Host also shared useful tips to eat and drink nearby.
Gracias!

The woman at the information bureau was excellent- nicest person we have met so far, very kind. Made phone calls to help us out because we can’t speak Spanish and she was happy to find out for us. Interesting town.
This was one of the nicest places I stayed while walking the camino from Lisbon. Don't let the photo of a weird gold couch put you off! My room/apartment on the second floor was spacious and very comfortable, with two full-length windows with balconies that looked out on the street and a small square. Very quiet at night. I had difficulty with the heater, and the hotel receptionist went to great lengths to figure it out for me.
Perfect location, directly on the Camino, at Cesantes, near Redondela . Beware Pilgrims, it’s another 4.5km outside Redondela- further along the Camino. Great, if you’re happy to do that extra bit as it breaks up a steep climb, but there’s only a couple of restaurants, plus the one at the Pension itself. The room was cute; excellent clothes drying facilities in the sun. Staff were really friendly.
This is lovely apartment in the centre of Redondela. Easy to find for peregrinos just off the official route. The hosts are great people, meeting us on arrival with fruit and water available, and dealing with all questions. The flat is well appointed, clean bathroom, comfortable beds, a washing machine and lounge/kitchen. Highly recommended. Thanks Miguel and Enrique!
Everything was great and in order during our booking and stay. Fabiola was a fabulous host - prompt and knows what her clients needs. The use of their washing machine and dryer was super helpful! The location was after the main town, but it was an advantage the next day when we continued to Pontevedra as the Camino route is also along the way.
The hotel is right on the Camino de Santiago and in the center of the restaurants/parks area of Redondela. We were able to book a 6 person (bunk beds) room for my family of 5. I don't know if this is typical, but in March, the other guests were adults on the camino who were polite and early to bed. This created a nice environment for my kids.
The albergue is easy to find as it is located right on the Camino route just as you come into Redondela. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen and good bathroom facilities. There are privacy curtains with lots of space between the sets of bunk beds. The hostess was very friendly and did your laundry for a few euros.
Location was great. Beach on the otherwise of the road. Great dinner place less than 5 minute walk from Hotel. I was overwhelmed by the lovely building and grounds. Terrific breakfast served in the garden..Next day upon leaving I had to return to ask for assistance . Theresa step right in to help me.
Atico 48 is a great option for staying in Redondela. The apartment is right in the centre of town, but during our time there wasn't noisy at all. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a simple overnight stay. It is ideal for walking the Camino. Our host was friendly too.
This is a lovely hotel right on the Camino! the staff was welcoming and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable (if somewhat sparse). You can’t beat the location— near multiple cafes,
restaurants, and grocery stores right in the center of town.
Big apartment with two nice bedrooms and comfy beds. Laundry machine (with soap) and outdoor patio were both a lovely break from hotel rooms. Very much enjoyed having a kitchen to prepare meals. Loved the Nespresso machine. Very nice bathroom.
The location was great and close to all shops and restaurants. The room was clean and tidy. I thought I lost my headphones but the cleaning lady at the hotel found them and the hotel were kind enough to post them to me in London.
Good albergue just outside Redondela, few minutes off the camino, lovely host, made dinner which was delicious at a very reasonable price, good facilities for an albergue, nice terrace and small garden.
Patricia was really welcoming, gave excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to do in our short time in Redondela. The accommodation is super clean and very comfortable for a Camino stay!
We were doing Camino Portugese, there was any place to stay in Redondella, so Jumboli in the next town on the Way was very helpful. Good room, nice big yard with a see view and deck chairs
The hotel was very central. The room was clean, bright and airy on a hot day. Everything was very comfortable. There were also laundry facilities which was handy.
