We cal this house Casa-Rada (Rada means "happy house". the area is peaceful. At one kilometer from the house is mouth "Ferrol" with his lighthouse from here you have a beautiful sunset at the Atlantic Ocean We have 2 x 2 persons rooms available for quests,
I live and work all my live in the Netherlands, Now I am retired but still active in health and living. we have set-up a guesthouse and do. Carreco our village (North Portugal) with a beautiful green area, and a view of the Atlantic ocean. Our Hostel is situated on the Caminho route for Pilgrim travelers Porto to Santiago de Compostella our Santiago de Compostella travelers are satisfied with our accommodation. This area is very healthy for a good holiday. The beautiful beach is 10 minutes walking from the house there you can swim in the Atlantic ocean, golf surfing, Kite surfing, In this green area you make nice walking trips in the mountain ad near the coast. this area is also good for bicycling, mountain biking, hiking. our accommodation is close by Viana do Castelo ( 7 kilometer with 82000 citizens) which is a historical city, Porto is at 65 kilometer and Braga (Minho area) at 45 kilometer. There ar many forts and castles in this area. Viana De Castelo have one attraction basilica "Santa Lucia" which is situated uphill, from the highest tower of the cathedral "st Lucia"you have a beautiful panoramic view over the area. This view is standing at the third place worldwide of National Geographic.
