Found a lovely place to eat Pinchos (tapas) very nice and not far from the hotel. The city is beautiful with so many buildings of architectural interest. Only staying one night whilst travelling through Spain was not enough time to appreciate everything the hotel had to offer.

We went to Burgos for the Cathedral and were not disappointed. The City centre is pedestrianised so it was easy to stroll around and find good tapas bars. There is a riverside park which must be lovely in the Summer.

Burgos is an historic city, still with lots of lovely buildings. It is quite small, so easy to get around. The centre is partly pedestrianised, has lots of restaurants, bars, squares and parks so is very tourist-friendly.
The cathedral is splendid but not really to my taste. The new Museum of the Evolution of Man shows off the recent local discoveries of prehistoric
hominids which are by far the oldest in Europe. But it's aimed at adults, especially Spanish-speakers, not so much families.
Burgos celebrates its most famous son - El Cid - and being on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

I liked the old town, its plethora of Romanesque churches and the Cathedral. I really liked the museum that was opposite our accommodation in Calle Miranda. For just one euro one can see artifacts from celt-iberian peoples, Greek, Roman and Spanish Medieval. All this is housed in a 15th century residence of a Canon from the Cathedral.
There was some great places to eat. I highly recommend Cerveceria 100 Montitos.

Amazing cathedral.
Amazing cathedral. Lovely walks along the tree lined promenades next to the river. Very helpful people.
Train station a long way from centre. unless you know exactly which bus and which stop you want it is probably easier to travel by taxi but obviously a lot more expensive.
I spent 7 nights in this lovely hotel in a small but spotlessly clean room with a comfy bed and nice bathroom. The view of the Burgos Cathedral from my window was simply breathtaking, almost unreal. The breakfast buffet was extremely good and varied, the service excellent, and the front desk staff accommodating and friendly. The location in the center of medieval Burgos was wonderful! Felt like I had spent a week as a time traveler to the Middle Ages.
We stayed in Burgos for 2 nights and this hotel was perfectly located for us to walk to the cathedral and main tourist areas. The hotel had nearby underground parking which was a bonus because the city was a scorching 41 degrees. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel also had a bar and a seating area in the street outside. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and spoke very good English.
Location was very good, close to main Burgos bus station and city centre and cathedral. Staff at reception couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The overall look of the hotel on entry was quirky, quite old fashioned and all the better for that. Overall, a comfortable little gem at a reasonable price. Happy all round with my stay. Would recommend to fellow travellers.
The staff was well informed and very helpful (we had been traveling for a week and needed laundry and were pointed out to the laundry located within a block of the hotel.
The location was EXCELLENT - right on the way of St James and near the center of the old part of Burgos. we got to see a lot of stuff there and enjoyed it greatly
Great greeting at reception, first floor room directly opposite the main entrance to the Old Town. Best view possible of this and the Cathedral directly behind - See Photos attached. Really inexpensive Parking within about 50 metres.
I love visiting Burgos and Hotel Gotica was only abut 5 minutes ot my favourite Tapas Bar!
Modern hotel in an impressive old building on the castle hill. Room and bathroom were good, as was the terrace overlooking Burgos. Having to share the terrace with neighbours might not be everyones preference. Large swimmingpool. Old town can be reached in some minutes walk. Normal breakfast in a fine room with good view.
A perfect spot, not too busy.
Easy spot to offload luggage and a short drive or 2 min walk to big underground parking.
Café in the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices .
The staff was most helpful. Definitely will stay there again.
Location, location, location, that’s was you are paying for. Near everything. For us it was very important to have a parking, and this hotel has one on premises. Also the staff, very attentive. Breakfast was good, different options to choose.
Wonderful and modern Apartment in the best possible Location in Burgos. With view of the cathedral. Parking possible in a garage around the corner of the hotel, where you get the keys, for just 10 Euro per 24 hours. Highly recommended!
This hotel is friendly and VERY well located and easy to find, walking from the bus station. The best thing was the excellent breakfast the next morning, a wonderful buffet!
Awesome breakfast. I defy any 5 star hotel to do better. Amazing choice of fresh fruits, cereals, breads, meats etc...No need for lunch after that magnificent spread
The location was great to get into Burgos centre. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Free on road parking outside the hotel. Great value for money.
One of the best 'cheaper' hostals I have stayed in. The staff are very helpful, the room clean and with two pillows. A comfortable bed and very quiet hotel.
